"The support readers have shown The Chelation Kid has been overwhelming - but unfortunately, bills have to be paid. We never started this strip in order to get rich (we're not complete idiots) - but it has gotten to the point that it is difficult for Craig to continue drawing without receiving some sort of income. Which is a shame as we very much want to push through the next fifty strips - which would complete the first arc. So we've decided to ask all of you who've enjoyed the strip to consider making a small donation through our paypal account - as little as one dollar would make a difference. If we can get to $2500.00 - although he'll be grossly underpaid - Craig can afford to draw the fifty strips, Tim can afford to letter them, and I can pay Tim for tireless efforts lettering the first 125. Where does that leave me? Hey, I'm the parent of an autistic kid - I'm used to not having any money. If this fundraiser works, we'll look at continuing the series into the second arc. We've discussed at the point setting benchmarks of roughly $1700 per month to go on. I'd really love that - because we still have so much of our story to tell. So there you have it. Every little bit helps. The Chelation Kid has thousands and thousands of readers - both in and out of the autism community - if all you would give just a little something we can get the Kid back up to speed in no time."
